Angelo Tinebra was into soccer, he never played hockey, in fact he used hockey sticks with no blades to hold up the tomatoes in the garden. Angelo, died from a heart attack when his youngest son Alfonso was only five years old. Alfonso started to cope with the loss of his father through his love for hockey and became inspired to get involved with the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
